Flowers on Main Street
Newton upon Derwent Gardening Club
The Newton Garden Club is an informal group of villagers who enjoy gardens - planning them, making them, visiting them, or just being in them. We generally meet once a month - indoors in the winter, outdoors in the summer. We visit each other's gardens in the village and arrange trips to interesting gardens further afield. We try to improve the village scene with plants.
The club convener is Peter Young at The Poplars.
